Spring Grubs

We have been finding an enormous amount of grubs while digging in the soil this spring.  We can attribute this to extreme temperatures last year breaking down the chemicals which control them, and longer breeding season for the insects due to those temperatures.

Right now they are not feeding, so there is no reason for alarm.  We will apply grub control down at the right time which will be after our spring weed control applications.

The varying weather patterns are making work in the natural environment very difficult with plants.  We will monitor the conditions throughout the year, and make recommendations accordingly.  If we have a difficult summer, we may recommend an additional insect application in fall to ensure proper control.

Thanks,
